We warmly invite you to MaLGRA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM)—a day of community, connection, and creativity! This year, we’re making it extra special with a Teddy Bears’ Picnic to start the day. 🧸✨
What’s Happening:
- Teddy Bears’ Picnic (11:00 AM - 12:30 PM):
Bring your favourite teddy bear (or any plush companion) and enjoy a fun-filled picnic with fellow MaLGRA members and friends. The event accommodates both indoor and outdoor picnicking, ensuring everyone can enjoy the day regardless of the weather.
- AGM (1:00 PM onwards):
After the picnic, we’ll move into the formal part of the day with
our AGM. This is your opportunity to hear about MaLGRA’s achievements, updates, and plans for the year ahead. Share your ideas, voice your opinions, and contribute to shaping the future of our organisation.
🌈 What to Bring:
- Your favourite teddy bear or plushie 🐻
- A picnic blanket (optional) 🧺
- Snacks or treats to share for the picnic (optional) 🍪🥪
- Enthusiasm for the day ahead! 🎉
Important Details:
Everyone is welcome to attend the family-friendly Teddy Bears’ Picnic, and if you only want to come for the AGM, that’s totally fine too!
RSVP by January 18, 2025: Let us know you’re coming to help us plan catering for AGM snacks and any special bear requests for picnic catering.
AGM paperwork will be available on the day, but we aim to distribute it beforehand. If you have agenda items to discuss during general business, please email the Secretary at [email protected] no later than Monday, January 20, 2025.
We’ll follow the usual AGM format (see draft agenda below) and aim to keep the meeting to a maximum of 1.5 hours. If we conclude business sooner, we’ll have more time for additional activities.
