Now for March, get ready for an exciting presentation from Michael Goldberg, Co-Founder and President of I.CARE (Islamorada Conservation and Restoration Education) and owner of Key Dives in Islamorada. A professional diver for over 25 years with more than 10,000 dives, Mike has witnessed firsthand the loss of over 95% of our corals, a reality that inspired him to co-found I.CARE alongside Dr. Kylie Smith in 2018, with their first coral transplants hitting the reef at Alligator Reef in January 2021. A CNN Hero for 2023, Mike will discuss the science of reef restoration, its future efficacy, and how you can play a significant role in the recovery of our reefs.
