Join Us For a Screening of Making Miss Cherrys

Join us for a screening of the documentary “Making Miss Cherrys”.

This 45 minute film chronicles Timothy Byars (Sabel Scities) as he competes in the Miss Cherrys Allstars pageant. We follow Sabel’s journey and take a look back at the 30 year history of the event in the queer safe haven of Cherry Grove, Fire Island.

Past winners Charity Charles, Ginger Snap, Boudoir LeFleur and Brenda Dharling share the stories of their crownings and how winning Miss Cherrys brought them closer to the community.
