Eskamani in the 40th Annual Orlando MLK Jr. Parade!Hosted by Southwest Orlando Jaycees, join our team for the exciting Downtown Orlando MLK Jr. Parade featuring dance, comedy, community organizations, drumlines, music, artistic expression, and more! This year’s event marks the 40th anniversary of celebrating and honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and his contributions as a civil rights advocate who fought for equitable treatment in America. The holiday parade will showcase culture and remind attendees of the gifts of family, liberty, and justice.
The 2024 parade theme is: “It Starts with Me: Shifting the Culture Climate through the Study and Practice of Kingian Nonviolence.”
The parade will begin at 10am, so we ask volunteers to arrive at 9am to allow for parking and staging.
