Johnny Trash
Born from the gritty punk-rock reinterpretations of Johnny Cash, Johnny Trash has officially broken the mold. Now a fully realized original outfit, the Vancouver based band blends high-energy punk roots with melodic rock influences to create a sound that is as dance-worthy as it is aggressive. Their new album, "Belly of the Beast" is a loud, unapologetic anthem for the modern underdog. Formed in 2018, the band was recreated in 2023 with founder members Joe (Ireland), DK (Wales), and new members Goose (Ottawa) and PhilGood (Montréal). You can expect bouncing bass lines, improvisational and dynamic drum beats, fast tempo twangy guitars and a gruff and tough vocal delivery that will please both cowboys and punk rockers alike.
