Johnny Hastings is one of the Midwest's most fluent and expressive guitar players. The band came together in the Black Hills of South Dakota around a love of Blues music in January of 2023. Their sound draws inspiration from traditional Blues and Americana influences that embodies the sound of western South Dakota. They have plans to record an EP soon but for the time being are staying busy playing regionally and contributing to other musical projects. Johnny Hastings & Stillhouse Down has played many shows across the Midwest. They've performed with the likes of Kingfish, Eddie 9V, Vince Converse & Big Brother, Blind Boys of Alabama, Samantha Fish, Dumpstaphunk and many more.
