Join us on Thursday, October 2 for a special evening celebrating John T. Edge’s new memoir House of Smoke. We will be giving away copies of the book while supplies last courtesy of the Friendly City Books Community Connection, a special project of the CREATE Foundation. John T. Edge writes and hosts the Emmy Award-winning television show TrueSouth on the SEC Network, ESPN, Disney, and Hulu. Edge also writes a restaurant column for Garden & Gun. His 2017 book The Potlikker Papers was named one of the best books of the year by NPR. He directs the Mississippi Lab and serves as a Writer-in-Residence at the University of Mississippi. Edge and his wife, artist Blair Hobbs, live in Oxford, Mississippi.
