At this time, we are primarily seeking candidates who:
- Are available to work weekdays (Monday–Friday)
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Have availability to support evening events throughout the season
Date: February 21st (Saturday)
Time: from 10AM-1PM
Location: 1300 Fulton St W, Grand Rapids, MI 49504 (John Ball Zoo) - Ballroom above Administration building. It is located at the front of the zoo entrance and is located up the stairs.

Looking for an exciting job this Spring/Summer and beyond? Step into the world of wildlife conservation and guest experiences at John Ball Zoo! Meet hiring managers from several different departments offering a wide range of positions tailored to your interests and skills.
What to Expect:
Explore Unique Opportunities: Discover roles across seven departments, from Food and Beverage and Retail to Guest Experiences & Admissions, each offering valuable skill development and memorable experiences.
Engage in on-the-spot interviews with department representatives. Also a chance to come and view the different departments, and schedule an interview for later. Will be offering scheduled interviews in the future, or on the spot. This is your chance to showcase your passion and skills! With the potential to be hired on the spot!
Experience: Giveaways, prizes, and refreshments will be offered.

- Food and Beverage: F&B Team Member & Food Service Lead
- Guest Experiences & Admissions: Guest Experiences Team Member, Adventure Team Member

- Warehouse and Grounds: Warehouse and Grounds Team Member
- Education: Zoo Educator
- Rentals: Venue Event Staff, Bartenders, Shuttle Drivers, Hospitality Interns
