About this Event
Set against the backdrop of New Year’s Eve, 1952—when a frail and determined 29-year-old Hank Williams set out on a fateful journey from Alabama to Ohio—"Move It On Over" explores the mystery of that final road trip while tracing the singer's early life and musical rise.
In this one-man show, acclaimed folksinger, storyteller, and music historian Underwood—who wowed our audience last year with his performance as Woody Guthrie—returns with a heartfelt tribute to another American legend. With warmth, wit, and authenticity, Underwood performs beloved classics like “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “Hey Good Lookin’,” and “So Lonesome I Could Cry,” inviting the audience to sing along and remember.
Sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, Move It On Over captures the spirit of Hank Williams and the soul of American country music in a way that is both powerful and personal.
