Joe Marcinek Band is a genre-defying collective led by guitarist, composer, and bandleader Joe Marcinek, known for creating high-energy, one-of-a-kind live experiences. Blending funk, rock, jazz, and improvisation, the project features a rotating lineup of world-class musicians, making every performance a unique collaboration where anything can happen.
Inspired by the spirit of improvisation and musical exploration, Marcinek has built a reputation for bringing together top talent from across the spectrum, crafting shows that are spontaneous, dynamic, and deeply rooted in groove. His sound draws from Chicago blues, New Orleans funk, jazz fusion, and psychedelic rock—resulting in a style that is both versatile and unmistakably his own.
Over the years, Marcinek has collaborated with some of the most respected names in music, including Bernie Worrell (Parliament Funkadelic), as well as members of The Meters and the Jerry Garcia Band legacy. His performances are known for their energy, musicianship, and the sense that no two shows are ever the same.
For this special performance, Joe Marcinek Band is joined by New Orleans standouts Tony Hall (Dumpstaphunk) and John “Papa” Gros, adding deep funk grooves, soulful vocals, and authentic Crescent City flavor to the stage.
