First emerging as a key figure of the 00s Sheffield indie scene with cult band Milburn, Joe Carnall Jnr has continued to develop as a singer, songwriter, musician and now playwright. Carnall is a melody maker whose ear for a tune is instantly apparent. Over the years his songwriting has grown with him into something less frenetic and more meaningful. Lyrically, beginning to take on those weightier themes that one can only stare in the face after a few weather beaten trips around the sun.
