About Jocelyn Gould
JUNO winner Jocelyn Gould has been called a leader in the next generation of mainstream jazz guitarists. Since her debut album, Elegant Traveler, won the 2021 JUNO for Jazz Album of the Year, Jocelyn has maintained a busy schedule of international touring, recording, composing, and mentoring younger musicians as a professor and Head of the Guitar Department at Humber College in Toronto.
Golden Hour, Jocelyn’s sophomore album set to be released in spring of 2022, is a further exploration of her musical character and personal development. It showcases Jocelyn’s virtuosic guitar playing and dynamic compositions, and introduces her voice, which is featured on several tracks of the album. Long-time fans and new listeners alike will be drawn in by Jocelyn’s soulful and swinging approach in her next stage of artistry.
