Before hurricane season beginsโฆ we must make an offering to Jobu.
Join us at The Whale for JobuFest, a day of island celebration where we gather to keep Jobu happy with his favorite offerings โ rum, cigars, and trinkets โ in hopes that he watches over the island during hurricane season.
Itโs a little superstition, a little island tradition, and a whole lot of fun.
Event Schedule:
11:00 AM โ JobuFest Begins
Food, drinks, merchandise, and island vibes all day.
Live Music All Afternoon
5:30 PM โ The Jobu Ritual & Offering
Weโll gather to present Jobu with his traditional offerings of rum, cigars, and island trinkets to help protect the island through hurricane season.
Guests are welcome to bring small trinkets to add to the offering.
Final Songs After the Ritual
The band will close the day with two final songs.
Music Ends by 6:15 PM
After the final song, the party will continue inside The Whale.
