Teens (ages 16-18) who are interested in a library career may apply to Job Shadow a Librarian on April 21st from 3-4:30 PM. Applicants must reside in the Sherrard Public Library District to be eligible.During this time, participants will learn basic library circulation functions and receive information about library careers!
To apply, teens must email a completed application form (linked below or available at the library's front desk), which features an essay prompt. The submission deadline is March 25th, and all applicants will receive a response with their selection status.
Applicants who have participated in the Job Shadow a Librarian program previously are not eligible.
