Get ready for the working world with this introductory workshop presented by Sarah Eiseman, CCSP, CPRW, Head of Workforce Development & Digital Inclusion at East Hartford Public Library. Snacks will be provided.

East Hartford Summer Youth Employment & Learning Program

Town representatives will visit to share information about the East Hartford Summer Youth Employment & Learning Program (SYELP). Get guidance on eligibility, the application process, and what to expect. This session will help you prepare to apply for a paid summer work experience and build skills for success on the job. This program includes a pizza lunch.

Join experienced facilitator Aujahdai Ambrose for a fun and interactive opportunity to practice the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to be successful in the workplace. Snacks will be provided.

Role play as an adult trying to manage a household budget; learn about the financial challenges and choices you will face as an adult. Snacks will be provided. For ages 12 and up.
