JJVA Spring Break Volleyball Skills Camp is open to girls ages 10-16. JJVA coaching staff will focus on building fundamental skills, perfecting form, and mastering each skill listed below:Hitting: Footwork, Range and Efficiency
Setting: Footwork, Location, Decision making
Defense: Body Posture, Individual Skill defense, Reading the play
Blocking: Footwork, Eye Work, Hand position, Reading play and hitters
Serving: Accuracy, Speed test, consistency
Passing: Platform, Angles, and Reading the server
Spring Skills Camps will focus on individual volleyball skills building towards gameplay on day 3.
The camp schedule is as follows:
Day 1: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Hitting | LUNCH BREAK 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM | 11:30 AM -1:30 PM Setting
Day 2: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Serving | LUNCH BREAK 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM | 11:30 AM -1:30 PM Passing
Day 3: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Defense and Blocking | LUNCH BREAK 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM | 11:30 AM -1:30 PM Gameplay
Camp Dates:
Week 1 – March 11-13, 2024
Week 2 – March 18-20, 2024
Camp Hours: Camps are 9:00 AM-1:30 PM
Camp Cost: $199 For All 3 Days or $80 Per Day
What to Wear: Athletic shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes (No tank tops)
