Jimmy George is a visual ink artist and seasoned musician with more than four decades of experience in writing, recording, and performing music. Since 1999, he has shared the stage with a diverse range of notable artists, including Tom Petty, Tim Reynolds (of the Dave Matthews Band), Bob Schneider, Dave Alvin, Joe Ely, Toots and the Maytals, and Carlos Santana. His performances have taken place at prominent venues across the United States and Canada, such as The Viper Room, Dallas Starplex, Austin City Limits, House of Blues, Fox Theater, Black Sparrow, Cactus Cafe, and the Bugle Boy.In addition to his work as a performer, George is the owner and operator of The Roost Recording Studio, located in the Texas Hill Country near Austin. The studio is a full-service production facility specializing in recording, mixing, and mastering audio for commercial release.
