Jim Wheat was a curious mind, a small-town soul, and a family man at heart. He loved science, math, and sharing that love with others — especially kids — whether he was talking about the stars, working on a project, or cooking up one of his famous Sunday meals. If you knew Jim, you knew his kindness, his humor, and the way he made everyone feel like they belonged.Jim passed away on November 1, 2025. While our hearts are broken, we’re grateful for the time we had with him and the impact he made on so many lives.
