Ward started his journey inhigh school playing local shows before co-founding At the Drive-In at age 17.ATDI becamea global success cementing a career in music . Following the demise of ATDI he co-founded Sparta which continues to this day. Ward is known for the alt-country bandSleepercar and has a prolific solo career as well. He resides in El Paso.
