Comedian Jim McCue to Debut New Book Sketchy Facts with Special Hometown Performance May 23
Portsmouth, NH — Stand-up comedian Jim McCue will celebrate the release of his new book, Sketchy Facts, with a special one-night performance and book signing on Friday, May 23 at McCue’s Comedy Club in Portsmouth, NH.
Known for his clean, high-energy comedy, McCue has appeared on Comedy Central, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and has filmed two specials with Dry Bar Comedy, which have collectively reached millions of viewers. His new book, Sketchy Facts, offers a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road as a comedian — featuring stories and moments that don’t always make it into his stand-up act.
“This book is a collection of the kinds of stories comics usually only tell each other after the show,” said McCue. “Now I get to share them with everyone — and do it live.”
The May 23 event will feature a full stand-up performance followed by a live book signing, giving audiences a chance to experience McCue’s comedy and connect with him after the show.
McCue is currently launching his Clean Slate Comedy Tour, a theater-friendly comedy experience designed for audiences looking for a fun, accessible night out.
