Boswell Book Company welcomes James DeVita, better known by his pen name James Cleary, for his debut novel The Sanctuary. James makes the leap from stage, film, and TV to the literary world with his post-apocalyptic novel. He will be joined in conversation by author Christina Clancy.

James Cleary is a pseudonym for James DeVita. He is a native of Long Island, NY, and a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship for Fiction. James is also a theater professional, and has worked extensively as an actor, director, and playwright.
