Come experience LA’s only Jazz Club of its kind ?JIJI’s is a musical event inspired by the underground jazz clubs of NYC!
This month’s Club will feature a DJ Set by GOGO & a jazz set by CASSOWARY. There will be an open mic after our main performance for anyone who’d like to perform. GOGO is a first-generation Igbo American disk jockey and creator. Performing around Los Angeles and even overseas, she finds inspiration at the intersection of music and community. Her eclectic mixes are sure to evoke liberation on the dance floor! Miles Khalil’s Jazz identity Cassowary has re-emerged with his new single "Move!" - co-produced by 3x Grammy Award winning producer Om’Mas Keith — known for his work with Frank Ocean, Erykah Badu, and John Legend. It’s jazz for a new day: nostalgic and futuristic at the same time, hazy. He handles lead vocals, piano, bass, synthesizers, and tenor sax all with equitable skill. Miles has studied under artists such as Walter Smith III, Gary Smulyan and Terell Stafford, and collaborated with artist like Earl Sweatshirt.
