About this Event
JIB is a British folk trio featuring Jim Mageean, Ingrid Temple and Barrie Temple, known for their powerful harmonies and extensive repertoire of sea songs, shanties and traditional music. Some of their material comes from the pen of Barrie Temple, and celebrates the working men and women of the industrial North-East.
Whether a cappella or with concertina accompaniment, their vocal arrangements pull their listeners into the scene. No wonder everyone sings along!
JIB have recorded three albums:
'Carrying Coals' (2015); 'Billy Was A Miner' (2019); and most recently 'Shipyard Girls' (2025)
The Rifle Club opens at 2:30 pm; the concert begins at 3 pm. There is free parking in the public lot adjacent to the Rifle Club.
