Blast off on a journey through space at our Family Space Explorers Event β a fun, educational experience designed for curious minds of all ages!
This interactive event invites families to explore the wonders of the night sky, learn how to protect our dark skies, and discover our solar system through hands-on activities and immersive experiences.

- Engaging Presentation on Dark Skies & Stargazing
Learn why dark skies matter, how light pollution affects our view of the universe, and pick up practical stargazing tips you can use at home. - Planetarium Show Enter our planetarium dome for a 360Β° immersive experience and take a journey with us on the search for alien life!
- Interactive Solar System Workshop
Get hands-on as you explore the planets, their unique features, and their place in our solar system through interactive activities. - Space-Themed Craft Activity
Younger explorers can get creative with a fun, space-inspired craft to take home.

The event will be expertly led by Cosmic Wonders, Sophie Carroll - an experienced science educator, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, and Associate Member of the Institute of Physics.

Space at our events is limited, so booking is essential. Everyone attending, regardless of age, must be on the guest list.
While we welcome guests of all ages, our sessions are generally more engaging for children aged 6 and older.
Unfortunately, our planetarium isn't wheelchair-accessible.
We don't recommend bringing dogs, except certified guide and support dogs.
Please be aware that mobile phone reception within Botton Village is often limited or unavailable.

Public events typically last between 2 and 2.5 hours.

Our stargazing events proceed even in less-than-perfect weather conditions. Even if the skies are cloudy, there will still be plenty to enjoy.
REFUNDS ARE NOT ISSUED ONCE BOOKINGS ARE CONFIRMED.
BOOKINGS CANNOT BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO CLOUD COVER.
BY COMPLETING YOUR BOOKING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
To keep our events sustainable, we are unable to offer refunds or rescheduling due to cloudy weather.
We will only cancel events if weather conditions pose a safety risk.
In the rare event that we cancel due to hazardous weather, you will have the following options:
- Reschedule your booking to another available event date.
- Receive a gift certificate equal to your booking value, redeemable for another event.
- Receive a full refund of your booking amount.
