Jewish Genealogy: Case Studies
Saturday, November 23, 2024
11 am - 12:30 pm, PST
Presented by Joanna Shear
Live online via Zoom or members may view recording on our website.
Researching Jewish ancestors often presents challenges, such as name changes, difficulty identifying countries of origin, and record availability both in the US and abroad. While few of these are entirely unique to Jewish genealogy, taken together they can be daunting. In this presentation, we will use case studies to explore methodologies as well as discuss helpful sources. Whether you've been researching for years or are just getting started, this interactive event will have something for you.
Watch for Joanna’s email, she will be asking for questions you’d like to incorporate into the material
