About this Event
Looking for a jewelry making class in Miami that’s actually hands-on? Spend your Saturday at Artisan’s Playhouse creating a modern, wire-wrapped bracelet you’ll actually wear out the door!
In this beginner-friendly Jewelry Making workshop, will guide you step-by-step through essential wire techniques so you leave with a finished bracelet and real skills. This DIY Jewelry Making class is intentionally small so you get personal instruction, professional tools, and a polished result.
Have that random earring that’s so cool but you never wear? Bring it — we can incorporate it into your bracelet. Have a necklace or bracelet that isn’t your style anymore but you love the beads? Bring it — we can redesign it into something new.
We’ll cover the main parts of jewelry-making and what you create, including:
- Beads
- Wire
- Professional tools – pliers, cutters, etc.
- Clasps and clean finishing techniques
Through a series of hands-on exercises, you’ll practice wire wrapping, securing beads properly, attaching clasps cleanly, shaping wire, and creating polished, finished jewelry that feels elevated — not crafty.
This class also includes design guidance, so you learn how to:
- Balance beads and spacing
- Create secure loops and closures
- Finish your bracelet professionally
- Design with intention and confidence
All materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own beads or old jewelry to upcycle into your design. By the end of class, you’ll have a finished, wearable wire-wrapped bracelet and the confidence to continue creating jewelry at home.
IMPORTANT: Bring reading glasses if you use them.
