Join Sam Hug, Gorringe's Head of Jewellery, and Oliver Searle, Executive Director of Gorringe's, in conversation hosted in our oak panelled Private Dining Room, on Tuesday 30th June 2026. Sam and Oliver will reveal secrets of the jewellery auction world, explain how jewels come to auction, what determines their value, and how to navigate the buying and selling process with confidence. Sam and Oliver will showcase some recent highlights, giving you the opportunity to handle some true hidden gems, and study them up close. Whether you’re curious about consigning a piece, hoping to start your own collection, or simply love beautiful jewellery, this lunch will deliver sparkle, expertise and an enjoyable insight into the fascinating world of jewellery.
We do invite guests to bring items of jewellery for valuation on this date should they wish. Valuations will take place privately in our Oak Gazebo at the end of lunch. Please let Sam know when you arrive if you would like a valuation and he will book a time for this.
The day begins at 1pm with the talk by Sam and Oliver and a glass of sparkling served on arrival. A three-course lunch will then follow at 2pm. Afterwards, guests are invited to wander the gardens at their leisure. Please note that guests will be seated on shared tables for the duration of the event.
£130.00 per person, includes a glass of sparkling on arrival, the talk and a three-course lunch with drinks.
