About this Event
The focus will be on basic metalworking skills through to the construction of jewellery such as rings and bangles.
You will learn how to cut and form metal, how to safely use a soldering torch, how to emboss designs into metal using a rolling mill, and how to use tools to texture metal, amongst other things. Silver is the main metal used but it is possible to use any metal you wish to.
Please note: please bring $25 cash on the first night to receive a starter kit (silver, solder, saw blades and sandpaper).
Introduction to Jewellery classes on Thursdays are taught by Michaela Woolf.

Please note, for our 2024 enrolments you may be issued a full (except for Eventbrite fees) automatic refund up to 7 days before your event starts by requesting a refund through Eventbrite. Refund requests after this date can be made by contacting the [email protected] email address. These will be accepted on a case-by-case basis when exceptional circumstances are present. No refund requests will be accepted after the start date of the class.
