Jess Chase is an NYC-based artist originally from Tacoma, Washington. A graduate of the Tacoma School of the Arts with a Master’s in Music Technology, she crafts confessional-style songs that blend intimate singer-songwriter storytelling with experimental electronic textures.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Grizzly Bear and Mitski, her sound weaves together synths, custom plugins and raw vocals to explore themes of love, heartbreak, and identity.
Her debut EP "Carnage" is out everywhere—a 5-track journey grappling with internal questions of self and relationships. Listen here.
Beyond her own music, Jess works at YouTube Music in New York City, traveling the globe to collaborate with industry partners. She has also toured internationally with artists like Maris and Miss Grit, performing live synth, vocals, dancing and triggering tracks in Ableton.
