Jersey Shore Masters Intrasquad Meet: Sunday - May 31**JSM/ASBURY MASTERS MEMBERS ONLY**
In the event we have space, we will open this to non-members.
On Sunday, May 31 we'll be hosting our annual ‘intra-squad’ swim meet, involving all our Masters groups (A >> H). We will be creating teams, comprised of all groups so they’re as even as possible...so there will be a HUGE variety of ability on each team. The meet will be made up of relay races w/ each team captain, helping put together the rosters for each race. This is 100% for fun so it does not matter if you’re fast/not-so-fast 😉 !!
Every team member will compete in every event. For example, if we have (42) participants, there will be (6), 7-person teams... so if the 1st event is a 7x50yd relay, every individual will swim (1) 50yd leg.

WHO IS COACH BRIAN?
o Brian Shea comes to the program with a wealth of experience in endurance sports as an athlete, coach and consultant. He is the Head Coach & Founder of Jersey Shore Masters (JSM) & for over 35 years, has competed in all levels of endurance sports from 5K to Ultra-marathon Swims/Runs to Ironman.
o He has raced/won triathlons in the United States & abroad with multiple Ironman finishes including Ironman Hawaii with Personal Bests of:
5k - 15:54
Marathon - 2:49
Ironman - 9:31
Most recently, Brian has (8) Top-10 finishes at the 8-mile Annual Swim for Alligator Light as well as 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishes (M40-49) at the United States Lifesaving Association National Championships.
o On the coaching side, Brian is a certified coach having formulated training and sports nutrition programs for athletes ranging from beginner to professional.
