The nighttime will be the right time as Tampa Jazz Club and New Tampa Performing Arts Center kick off their 2025-26 “New Tampa Jazz Nights” season with the powerful tenor saxophone of Jeremy Carter and his quintet in an explosive, themed concert titled “Up All Night.” The performance will take place at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center at 8550 Hunters Village Road in New Tampa, on Saturday, October 11, at 8:00 PM. This will be the first of four “New Tampa Nights” jazz concerts for the 2025-26 season. More information is at www.tampajazzclub.com.
The jazz party will begin when the sun goes down, as Carter shares jazz songs both nocturnal and exotic. Carter, a strong, mainstay presence on the Tampa Bay jazz scene for years will be joined by some of our area’s top performers including trumpet sensation James Suggs, bassist extraordinaire Alejandro Arenas of Best of the Bay trio La Lucha fame, keyboard and harmonica wizard Patrick Bettison and master drummer Rod Alnord.
