Jenner Fox & Jeremy Elliott are a Bellingham, WA–based internationally touring duo praised for their poignant storytelling, intricate guitar interplay, and uncanny ability to blend two into one. Their debut LP, The Moon That Moves The Sea (2024), was hailed by Americana UK as “evocative and revelatory.” Fox, a prolific troubadour with nine albums in a decade, has built his reputation on heartfelt and humorous storytelling with a voice that carries equal measures of vulnerability and conviction. Elliott, a Macon, Georgia native, weaves blues, rock, bluegrass, country, and West African influences into his unique virtuosic style. Since joining forces for a 365-mile bicycle tour across New England, the powerhouse duo has delighted audiences from Patagonia to Portland and sometimes even places that don’t start with P.

Before he discovered rafting, Peter Fox studied writing at Stanford University under William Rivers and N. Scott Momaday. He used his English degree to build redwood furniture, install solar heaters, grip for TV commercials, and pound nails until, at age 27, he picked up a pair of oars on a river and knew this was where he belonged. Within two years, Peter was teaching beginning guides to row, and helping smash the high water record on California’s estimable Tuolumne River. A year later, he helped reset the high-water mark on Chile’s world-renowned Bio Bio River before playing lead roles in the first descents of the Futaleufú River in Chile and the Grand Canyon of the Stikine in British Columbia. For another 40 years, Peter continued to teach and row rivers while pursuing a photography career and raising a family. Still getting behind the oars at 72, he lives in Bend, Oregon, with his longtime rowing partner and wife, Susan. They have two married children and two grandchildren who all love being on rivers.
