Would you like to learn how to make something new on your sewing machine? Learn to make a rug! Yes, you CAN make a really nice rug on your sewing machine! In this class you will learn how to make a rug using a jelly roll and batting strips. This rug is the more contemporary rectangle design (24 X 42 inches). Using a unique technique of folding the strips and then attaching the strips together, you make a wonderful rug that is washable! The class will start with a tutorial of the technique involved and you will make a small mat/coaster using supplies I will provide to perfect your skills before starting on your rug. Once you make one, you’ll want to make a bunch of them. It’s easy and fun and theres no cutting involved! : )
