Known for his work with Cole Escola and appearances in shows like Search Party and Shameless, Self’s memoir blends humor with deeply personal stories about sex work, mental health, and chasing dreams. With his new film Drop on the way, Jeffrey’s candid, irreverent voice makes him a perfect interview.

Jeffery Self is an actor and writer. He has appeared in TV shows such as Search Party, The Horror of Dolores Roach, Shameless, 30 Rock and movies such as Spoiler Alert, Mack and Rita, and The High Note. Up next he can be seen in the Universal Pictures/Blumhouse thriller Drop. He is the author of two young adult novels Drag Teen and A Very Very Bad Thing. He lives in New York City.

Evan Ross Katz is BFA in theater-weaponizing homosexual who vacillates between writer, editor, journalist and cultural commentato. He has written a book about Buffy the Vampire Slayer (featuring interviews with Sarah Michelle Gellar (!) and Stacey Abrams (!!), New York Magazine cover stories on the ladies of Euphoria, and was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business 2021.
