Join on November 1, 2021 as we welcome Diary of a Wimpy Kid and New York Times bestselling author, , to the store for a socially distanced drive-thru event to celebrate the release of , the newest (and 16th!) installment in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
Load up your whole family and join a veritable conga line of cars for a pandemic safe meet-the-author experience like no other. From the comfort and safety of their own vehicle, families will drive through the event experience following beloved characters Greg and Rowley as they explore Field Day, shoot and score, and strive for the gold, all before reaching the finish line where Jeff Kinney personally delivers children their signed copies of . It’s a home run!

To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines ahead of buying a ticket, so you know what to expect on the day. To avoid disappointment, we must stress that there will be no access to the event for non-ticketholders.
- Barnes & Noble reserves the right to make new rules and orders in its sole discretion with regard to COVID-19 at any time and any person not abiding by the Barnes & Noble directives will be refused entrance or directed to leave the premises.
- Barnes & Noble may cancel this event at any time with or without notice to the ticket holders.

**There are two ticket options:
- Big Shot Solo Presigned Book Ticket - admits ONE CAR / ($14.99 cost of Big Shot (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #16) + tax + Eventbrite fees): **A ticket PER CAR includes one presigned copy of , along with admission to the BIG SHOT Drive-Thru event space, culminating with a curbside, socially-distanced book delivery by Jeff Kinney.**
- Jeff Kinney Presigned Book Bundle Ticket - admits ONE CAR / ($14.99 cost of Big Shot (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #16) + $14.99 cost of Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories + tax + Eventbrite fees): **A ticket PER CAR includes:
- One presigned copy of .
- One presigned copy of (#3 in the Awesome Friendly Kid series).
- Admission to the BIG SHOT Drive-Thru event space, culminating with a curbside, socially-distanced book delivery by Jeff Kinney.*
- To ensure the health & safety for all attendees, tickets are timed. Please pay attention to your time slot. Ticket holders will be admitted into the store lot beginning at their time slot the day of the event, no earlier.
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your ticket time so that you can be checked in by store staff and be placed in the line. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check in. If you arrive earlier than 5-10 minutes prior to your time slot, please do not enter the event line.
- All traffic for the event should enter at the traffic light at the intersection of Woodridge Rd and the Shops at Greenridge.
- Restrooms and cafe access will be available inside Barnes & Noble. Please note that the event takes place in the front lot and entry to the store is at the front facing Woodridge Rd. Please keep this timing in mind as the line/car flow will not be held for anyone inside.

Guidelines:
- Jeff is happy to take socially distanced photos with fans. A staffer will take photos of each family with Jeff. During the photo, families will remain inside their car with the windows rolled down and Jeff will remain outside the car. Masks are encouraged & appreciated. The photos will be available online after the event and details on how to download them will be provided to each customer at check-in. No personal cell phone / camera use will be allowed.
- Due to COVID-19, masks are encouraged & appreciated.
- Ticket holders will be admitted into the store lot beginning at their time slot the day of the event, no earlier. The queue for your time slot will be formed on a first come, first served basis.
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your time slot for check in. Your ticket will be scanned. If you arrive earlier than that, please do not join the event line until that time.
- All traffic for the event should enter at the traffic light at the intersection of Woodridge Rd and the Shops at Greenridge.

- No books or memorabilia will be signed at the event. Pre-signed copies of other Jeff Kinney titles will be available for purchase at the end of the drive-thru event.
- In order to attend this event, ticket holders should:
---Have not had any contact in the last 14 days with a confirmed COVID- 19 patient.
---Not be subject to a quarantine order.
---Not traveled in the past 14 days to any state or country that Colorado has designated as an area requiring isolation upon returning to the state.
---At the time of the event, have not experienced in the last 72 hours any body temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit or any new symptoms associated with COVID-19. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19: fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; and/or diarrhea.
Additional guidelines:
- The exact time at which the event ends will be determined on the day.
- To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise you not to arrive any later than your timed ticket start time. Late arrivals may not have the opportunity to drive through the event and socially-distanced meet Jeff Kinney.
- Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted to join the queue.
- All event guidelines are subject to change.

Please note that Eventbrite is the only authorized dealer for this event. Each car must have a ticket to enter.
Refunds:
Attendees can receive refunds up to 1 day before your event start date. If you are unable to attend the event, Barnes & Noble Greenville will hold your book for seven days after the event. Please contact the store to arrange your pickup.
Should this event be canceled due to changing COVID-19 concerns, all customers will be refunded their ticket price to the original method of payment per Eventbrite's refund policy.
