Join us for an epic adventure at Steel Wheel Campground & Trading Post in Deadwood, SD, USA! Jeep enthusiasts from all over the country will gather for the 22nd annual Black Hills Jeeps Jeep Camp. Whether you're a seasoned off-roader or new to the trails, this event is for everyone who loves the thrill of conquering rugged terrains. Expect heart-pounding rides, breathtaking views, and unforgettable memories. Explore the beautiful landscapes of South Dakota, bond over campfires, and swap stories with fellow Jeep aficionados. This four day event starts with check-ins and tech inspections on Wednesday, June 17th.

Thursday morning we start early with trail sign-ups and then embark on our adventures. The trails range from a scenic 3 to a rough 8 or 9. There are trails for every Jeep and experience level.

We repeat this Friday and Saturday ending camp Saturday night with a dinner, awards & raffle prizes from our generous sponsors.

Info: Upon check-in, attendees will receive their welcome packet, any shirts that are pre-ordered before the event, and a tech inspection rating. At tech inspection, BHJ club members will rate jeeps based on mechanical factors such as lockers, lift, etc. so you know which trail ratings you can run in your rig. For example, a stock jeep without lockers may only be able to run trails rated up to a 4 where-as a Jeep with a 4 inch lift, front and rear lockers, oversized tires, etc may be able to run some of our toughest trails.

Info: If you did not check in on Wednesday, this is the time to get checked in and get your rig inspected.

Info: Each morning, the guides decide the trails for the day based on availability and weather. You will sign up for the trail you want for the day right away at 8:30 AM. Trails are first come, first serve. From there, a departure time is set and you will line up at the designated spot in the Steel Wheel parking lot.

Info: Saturday evening, we host a dinner and raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased throughout the week at inspections as well as during the dinner right before the raffle.
