Join us for a fun day starting with an all you can eat pancake breakfast at EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) followed by a back roads drive ending at Pocono Premium Outlets. All are welcome, you do not need to be a member to attend. This event is rain or shine.WHEN AND WHERE:
Sunday June 14th starting at 9:00 AM at Pegasus Airpark located at 222 Hickory Lane, Saylorsburg, PA. It's a private airport with a grass airstrip located on a small farm.
SUNDAY MORNING PANCAKE BREAKFAST:
We have been invited by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) local Chapter 839 (a non-profit group committed to promoting aviation and has programs that engage kids and adults) for one of their monthly pancake breakfasts. EAA will have a tent with tables, chairs, and a DJ. Pancake breakfast goes from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The cost is $10.00 per person (CASH) and is all you can eat pancakes, sausage, coffee, orange juice, and breakfast cakes. No registration needed, just come, eat, and hang out!
SUNDAY PLANE RIDES:
The plane rides are free to kids 8-17 and insured through EAA (weight restrictions apply)
AFTER BREAKFAST DRIVE:
We will leave the airfield at 1:00 PM and take about a 1 hour drive on mostly back roads to Pocono Premium Outlets in Tannersville, PA. Please see the Facebook discussion section or our website for directions, to be posted the week of the event.
END POINT:
We will end at Pocono Premium Outlets located at 1000 Premium Outlets Dr, Tannersville, PA 18372. Once at the Outlets, that will end the event and you are free to explore the outlets or depart on your own.
FLAG DAY:
Sunday June 14th is also Flag Day. We encourage you to display the American Flag to show your American spirit. Flag Day is observed annually on June 14 in the United States to commemorate the adoption of the Stars and Stripes by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777.
