About this Event

"Jeannette Rankin Fights Back" brings to life Jeannette Rankin’s trailblazing legacy—illuminating how one woman’s courage and conscience can echo powerfully in today’s fraught political climate. Her portrayal offers a stirring tribute and a timely call to action, reminding us that defending democracy often means standing firm against all odds.


The play was written and performed by Beth Urech who is a cousin of Jeannette Rankin as well as a member of LWV of North County San Diego.


After the performance, there will be coail time and beverages and refreshments provided by the Wesley Palms Retirement Community.

There is ample parking, and the facility is located near the Garnet Avenue exit off of Route 5.
