JAZZ@PRITHVI: LIFELINE QUARTET

Lifeline Quartet is a musical project to provide a foil or contrasting identity to everything else that Mark has been known for in Mumbai, India. The nature of this project is to develop new cliches andhumour singable melodies and to evoke humor and whimsy. While many of Mark’s projects have involved heavy music, either fast melodies, complex harmonies, or complex rhythms, “Lifeline Quartet” seeks to do the opposite by being intelligently simple and open in terms of orchestrational timbre.
