The San Diego Committee of Water For People is excited to host Jazz on Tap 2021 presented by Avista Technologies and KSDS Jazz 88.3 FM – to be held both in-person AND virtually on June 13!This will be the fifth charity jazz event held in San Diego in support of Water For People, an organization committed to changing people’s lives by bringing safe drinking water and improved sanitation to families in need throughout the world. Water For People currently works in nine countries, and consistently receives Charity Navigator’s highest four star rating.
This year’s program will feature local jazz bands - Gilbert Castellanos, Monette Marino World Jazz Ensemble, and Euphoria Brass Band. The event will be live-streamed and will be emcee’d by local radio station KSDS, co-sponsors for the event. The event is being supported by the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture and will include a “fund a need” auction, hosted by San Diego auctioneer Mike Hogan.
There are two ways to “attend” and enjoy some cool jazz while supporting a great cause:
IN-PERSON:
The in-person event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. (with check-in beginning 3:30 p.m.) at the Westin Gaslamp’s beautiful Garden Terrace.
For in-person attendees, table seating will be provided, with seats assigned in advance.
As seating available will be limited, attendees for the in-person event should purchase their tickets NOW, as the event is expected to sell out.

$25 per ticket, ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ONLY
Please note attendees for the in-person event must be State of California residents, per the California Department of Public Health. In addition, all attendees must comply with State of California and County of San Diego public health orders related to COVID-19 including social distancing and face coverings.
Valet parking will be available at the Westin for $10 per vehicle for event attendees.
