What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than being royally entertained by 3 amazing bands while enjoying a delicious Sunday roast prepared by the superb chefs in The Grand. This afternoon promises to be relaxed, full of fun and wonderful music.
Take your seat at your table and at 1.00pm we have the brilliant Emma Holcroft Quintet featuring Cliff Ray (trumpet/flugel) and backed by The Gaz Hughes Trio. This stellar line up of northwest musicians will present your favourite standards in unique new arrangements and some songs you may not have heard before.
Next up, and by popular request, are the amazing Djanco. We had these guys perform at our 2023 Jazz Festival and the response was superb, we have been waiting for the right opportunity to bring them back to Southport.
Djanco is influenced by Stephane Grappelli, Artie Shaw, and bebop greats, such as Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie
