PETE LONG is perhaps best known as the award-winning Musical Director of the UK's finest big band -The Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra. Pete has worked with them all from Jules Holland to Dizzie Gillespie and as Clive Davis of The Times says "He's a National Treasure" a great musician and simply superlative entertainer.
ANTHONY KERR is regarded by many as the most enchanting exciting and original vibraphone player in the jazz idiom today - performing with the likes of Georgie Fame The BBC Big Band George Shearing Charlie Watts.
Pete & Anthony's 'Salute To The King Of Swing' uses the classic clarinet and vibes-led quintet format with Pete Long (Clarinet) and Anthony Kerr (Vibraphone) joining the Sandra Lambert trio to revisit some of the iconic treatments of jazz standards made famous by the great Benny Goodman the undisputed King of Swing!
Jazz clarinettist and bandleader Benny Goodman led one of the most popular musical groups in the USA in the 1930s. His Carnegie Hall concert in New York City in 1938 is described as "the single most important jazz or popular music concert in history".

Doors open at 7 pm with live music running from approximately 7.45 pm – 10 pm (with a 30 minute interval).
