About this Event
Following on from the success of the FAS table at the Maltings Monthly Markets in 2024, bookings are now open for the markets on the first Saturday of each month from February to June 2025. FAS is also offering free membership for this event to people who are not yet full members of the Society.
Works (2D only) should be hung by 9:00am and remain in place until about 4:00pm. The fee is £10 per member per market, payable in advance (you will receive details of how to pay once you book). No commission is payable on sales.
Due to space constraints, the maximum number of members who can be accommodated at each table is limited to 6, and we need 5 in order to go ahead with the event. For the same reason, wall space per member will be limited to about 80cm wide by 198cm high.
Artwork may not be attached to the wall but may be hung from picture rails at 198cm (78") and 142cm (56") from the floor. This means that each artist should be able to display about 6 average-sized frames.
It will be possible to place business cards, greeting cards and publicity material on the table. Should space permit, small easels and browsers may also be used. Each member attending will need to do their own picture hanging (including providing picture hooks and wire or cord) and commit to stewarding for a 2-hour period on the day.
