This engaging celebration invites guests of all ages to connect with the vibrant traditions of jazz through live performances, interactive workshops, and cultural explorations.This year’s program highlights the deep connections between jazz and Gullah traditions, featuring a special Ring Shout workshop led by Grammy Award-winning musician Charlton Singleton. Through the dynamic movements and syncopations of this historic practice, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the Lowcountry’s musical roots. The day continues with a Creative Dance Workshop led by acclaimed movement artist Jordan Benton, culminating in an electrifying performance from Charlton & Friends.
Throughout the Garden, you’ll find food trucks, games, and activities designed for the whole family to enjoy, making this a lively, fun-filled afternoon.
