A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Paul Richardson is best known for his skills as a great keyboardist. He’s worked with a diverse group of pop and jazz legends throughout his career, including Herbie Hancock, The Headhunters, Ernestine Andersen, Charles Lloyd, Maya Angelou, and Blood, Sweat and Tears, to name a few. Paul’s solo work and ensembles continue to be a benchmark for local groups in the area. No matter whom he plays with, Paul Richardson brings elements of his trademark sensibilities to each and every project he contributes to. “I try to approach everything in a unique way—from compositions to arrangements. Just as in my own music, I try to bring a lot of diverse elements to the party, and give 110 percent," he says.
