The twentieth century saw the rise of both jazz and cinema, and the two have been interconnected since. From fictional portrayals of the jazz scene in feature films to biopics and documentaries charting the lives of jazz luminaries, there is a compelling assortment of films that celebrate jazz as soundtrack and subject. Join us for a daytime Jazz Film Festival featuring films that explore jazz and shed light on the vibrant history of this musical style!
