The vibrant WAAPA Afro-Cuban Ensemble brings the infectious rhythms and lively melodies of Afro-Cuban jazz to life with an exhilarating blend of percussion that includes congas, timbales and spirited brass sections.
The dynamic Mingus Ensemble pays homage to one of jazz’s most innovative composers, the legendary Charles Mingus, by blending blues, gospel and classical influences into a set filled with intricate arrangements and passionate improvisation.
