Jazz Progressions with Col

Come join us for an evening of across the floor jazz progressions with Col at We The People Fitness Studio!

This class is geared for folks with technical dance experience and knowldege- though you don't need to be currently practicing! The structure of the class will include a jazz warmup, across the floor jazz progressions (leaps/jumps/turns), and work in the center. Class will not include choreography outside of small phrases strung together to practice skills. This should feel like a blast from the past jazz class!! Just like when you grew up (but maybe with a smarter more evolved warmup??? :P)

If it's been a while since you've danced, this is the place for you!!! A judgement free space to move your body, try old things once again, and enjoy the love of dance with others :) This booking is your source for a reminder and accountability in coming to the thing you booked- but actually confirmation of your spot in the class is payment of $20 to Venmo Colleen-Hollis. Cancellations and refunds will be available three days before class (11/16 at 6:00 pm).

Attire is whatever you can confortably dance in! Layering up would be a good idea in case there is any floor work. Footwear can be a sock, jazz shoe, barefeet, turner, etc- the floor is wood. Any questions/cancellations can be sent via email to [email protected]. I'm so excited to dance with you!!
