On Friday 17th April, local musician Matt Ward welcomes guests to hear an evening of timeless jazz classics from one of the country's most exciting young vocalists, Grace Sheene.Grace Sheene is an American vocalist and songwriter based in London, UK. Her velvety, powerful voice - steeped in the rich history of the Great American Songbook - and radiant stage presence enchant audiences with a soulfulness that feels at once timeless and new.
An established performer at many of London’s leading live music venues - from Crazy Coqs and The Ned, to Brown’s Hotel, Aperivino, and Brumus–Haymarket - Sheene is making her mark on London's vibrant jazz scene. Accompanied by some of the finest musicians in the UK, she breathes new life into classic repertoire with authenticity, warmth, and style. Grace can also be seen touring across the UK with the critically-acclaimed Down for the Count Swing Orchestra.
