LAMP’s popular jazz concert series offers a wonderful setting to enjoy the rich sounds of jazz against the backdrop of stunning scenery in the historic Lunenburg Academy. On May 30, join Mike Murley (sax), Kenji Omae (sax), Chris Mitchell (sax), Danny Martin (trombone), Dave Staples (piano), Tom Roach (drums), and Tom Easley (bass) as they perform the music of jazz legend Charles Mingus, bringing his work to life with their improvisation and artistry.
Whether you're a long-time jazz lover or new to the genre, the Jazz Concert Series at LAMP promises to be a musical experience that will leave you spellbound. The LAMP Libations bar will be open - have a drink, hear some great jazz, and then head out to one of the many incredible restaurants in Lunenburg, Mahone Bay or Chester. What a fabulous night out!
